Montreal Canadiens forward Matthew Peca suffered a lower-body injury during the team’s 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, the team announced.

Peca left the game after getting tangled up in the neutral zone with Penguins star centre Evgeni Malkin

The 26-year-old is pointless in four games with the Canadiens this season. He has collected 11 points in 18 games with Montreal’s AHL affiliate, the Laval Rocket.
