Montreal Canadiens forward Joel Armia left Monday night’s game against the Winnipeg Jets with an upper-body injury and will not return.

Armia took a cross-check to the left arm from the Jets’ Nathan Beaulieu with just over seven minutes remaining in the second period. He finished the shift but shortly after was spotted heading to the Canadiens dressing room.

The 26-year-old played 8:29 and did not record a point in the game. He has 12 goals and 21 points this season.
