Canadiens’ Michael McCarron to miss remainder of season

Montreal Canadiens forward Michael McCarron will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, the team announced on Thursday.

McCarron, 23, has played all of the 2018-19 season with the AHL’s Laval Rocket, scoring seven goals and 21 points in 32 games.

A first-round pick (25th overall) in 2015, McCarron has eight points in 69 career games with the Canadiens.
