Vancouver Canucks defenceman Alexander Edler left Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers with an upper-body injury and is out for the rest of the night.

Edler was not on the bench to begin the third period before he was officially ruled out for the rest of the night.

The 33-year-old has logged more ice time this season than any Canucks player at 23:55 per game.
