Canucks assign Horvat to OHL’s Knights

Bo Horvat and Carter Verhaeghe replied in the second period for Team OHL, a collection of some of the best prospects in the Ontario Hockey League.

Bo Horvat won’t be starting the season with the Vancouver Canucks after all.

The Canucks reassigned Horvat to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League Sunday afternoon.

Horvat was selected by Vancouver with the ninth overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft. They acquired that pick in the trade that sent goalie Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils.

The London, Ont., native registered 33 goals and 28 assists in 67 games with the Knights last season.
