The Vancouver Canucks have loaned defenceman Jalen Chatfield to their AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets, the team announced Monday.

Chatfield has been see-sawing between Vancouver and Utica for the past couple of months, but has yet to make his first NHL regular-season appearance.

The 23-year-old has played 18 games with Utica this year, registering one assist. Last season, he had six assists over 34 games with the Comets.
