Canucks’ Loui Eriksson suffers lower-body injury against Ducks

Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson looks like he is unable to put weight on his leg as he is taken off the ice after a questionable hit from Anaheim Ducks forward Chris Wagner.

Vancouver Canucks forward Loui Eriksson will miss the rest of Sunday night’s game against the Anaheim Ducks with a lower-body injury.

Eriksson was hit into the boards by Anaheim’s Chris Wagner in the first period and wasn’t able to put any weight on his left leg.

The 31-year-old had just finished making a pass when Wagner connected with him, appearing to catch Eriksson with his knee.

Eriksson finished the game by playing just 1:09.
