Canucks re-sign Sven Baertschi to 3-year deal

The Vancouver Canucks announced on Sunday that they have re-signed forward Sven Baertschi to a three year deal worth $10 million.

Baertschi scored 14 goals to go along with 15 assists in 53 games for the Canucks last season, missing 28 games due to injury. In 259 career games, he has collected 122 points and 68 penalty minutes.

The 25-year-old was acquired from the Calgary Flames in 2015 in exchange for a second round selection that year. Baertschi was drafted 13th overall in 2011.
