The Vancouver Canucks have recalled forward Zack Macewen from AHL Utica.

Macewen has 17 goals, 25 assists and 42 points in 49 games this season in the AHL. In 66 games last season for Utica, the Charlottetown native had 10 goals, 23 assists and 33 points.

The 22-year-old was signed as an undrafted free agent by Vancouver back in March of 2017.

The move comes after Sven Baertschi was ruled out indefinitely with post-concussion syndrome on Saturday.
