Vancouver Canucks forwards Tyler Toffoli and Adam Gaudette will not play in Game 2 against the Minnesota Wild. Forwards Jake Virtanen and Loui Eriksson will play in their place.

No reason was given for the lineup changes, but in his post-game column after Game 1, Sportsnet’s Iain MacIntyre wrote that Toffoli “had easily his poorest game” since joining the Canucks from the Kings and Gaudette “looked nervous with the puck.”

Virtanen had 18 goals and 36 points in 69 games this season. Erickson had six goals and 13 points in 49 games this season.
