Canucks sign defenceman Oscar Fantenberg to one-year deal

The Vancouver Canucks have signed defenceman Oscar Fantenberg to a one-year deal worth $850,000.

Fantenberg split the 2018-19 season with the Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames, playing 61 games while recording four points and a plus-three rating.

Signed to a one-year entry-level deal by the Kings in May 2017 out of the KHL’s Sochi HC, the 27-year-old blue-liner has played in 88 career NHL games.
