The Vancouver Canucks have signed goaltender Richard Bachman to a two-year deal, as per an official team release.

Bachman spent 2014-15 in the Edmonton Oilers organization with the Oklahoma City Barons in the American Hockey League. He appeared in seven games with the Oilers, posting a 2.84 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.

Bachman gives the Canucks a solid option for their AHL affiliate in Utica, who can also handle some backup duties in the NHL.
