It’s quite possible that no team has gone through as many uniform motifs as the Vancouver Canucks have.
They made their debut in the same green and blue fans are familiar with today after moving past the dark blue and maroon, but in between took a dark turn towards a garish combination of yellow, red and black.
The striking colour combination was not the only polarizing aspect of their sweaters, they’ve also gone through their fair share of logos.
One in particular, worn from 1985-97 featured a sled hockey skate with the Canucks wording in the blade.
On Monday, the Canucks announced their intention to bring the jerseys back for one night as part of the 20th anniversary of their home rink, Rogers Arena.
The team will sport the old black jerseys on Feb. 13 when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
