I believe it was the late, great Biggie Smalls who once said, “Them rings and things you sing about, bring ’em out.”
Well, the Chicago Blackhawks — Stanley Cup champs in three of the past six years — brought ’em out Sunday. And, oh, how they shine.
During a private ceremony Sunday in downtown Chicago, the Blackhawks were presented with these Jostens-produced rings.
Each white-gold ring contains 355 diamonds — a mix of round, pear, marquise and custom princess-cut gems. That’s up from the 260 diamonds and gemstones crammed onto their 2013 rings. Not that anyone compares rings’ bling levels. (Looking at you, rappers and sultans.)

The details here are rather impressive.
The Blackhawks logo sits on top, created with custom-cut diamonds sitting atop a bed of 50 custom princess-cut diamonds.
The left side boasts all six Stanley Cup trophies the club has won, and the right side features the Blackhawks’ secondary logo created with pear and round pave-set diamonds, as well as each player’s name and number.
Inside, the team’s “ONE GOAL” motto is inscribed. The Blackhawks’ 2015 playoffs opponents and series scores are also included.
“Jostens is honoured to once again partner to create a championship ring program which honours the exciting 2015 victory and legacy of the Chicago Blackhawks,” Chris Poitras, Jostens’ vice president, said in a release.
“In close collaboration with the Chicago Blackhawks we created a brilliant ring that honours the championship team and organization’s accomplishment while fitting into the rich history of the Chicago Blackhawks.”
