The Arizona Coyotes got some good news on the injury front as goalie Darcy Kuemper was recalled from his AHL conditioning stint with the Tucson Roadrunners.

Kuemper stopped 26 of 28 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Stockton Heat Saturday.

The 29-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in a Dec. 19 loss to the Minnesota Wild. He did take part in practice with the Coyotes earlier this week but his status for Tuesday’s home game against the Florida Panthers remains unknown.

In 25 starts this season Kuemper has a 15-8-2 record with a .929 save percentage and 2.17 goals-against average. He was selected to represent the Pacific Division in the all-star game but had to drop out due to his injury.
