Coyotes sign former Notre Dame defenceman Jordan Gross

GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Coyotes signed former Notre Dame defenceman Jordan Gross to a two-year entry-level contract Thursday. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Gross, 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds, had 10 goals and 20 assists in 40 games for Notre Dame this season, helping the Irish reach the NCAA championship game.

The 22-year-old defenceman, from Maple Grove, Minnesota, had 36 goals and 85 assists in 159 career games for the Irish.
