Defenceman Chris Casto signs one-year deal with Golden Knights

Defenceman Chris Casto is a member of the Vegas Golden Knights after signing a one-year deal with the club worth $650,000.

Casto, 25, signed with Boston as an undrafted free agent in 2013 following a two-year NCAA career at Minnesota-Duluth. He registered one goal and 11 assists in 59 AHL games with the Providence Bruins in 2016-17. Casto has yet to make his NHL debut.
