Devils re-sign RFA Nathan Bastian to two-year contract

The New Jersey Devils have re-signed restricted free agent Nathan Bastian to a two-year deal, the team announced on Tuesday.

The contract will pay him $1.65 million over the duration of the contract.

The 23-year-old forward had 10 points over 41 games this year, his rookie season with the Devils. Bastian also led the club in hits during the 2020-21 regular season. A second-round pick in 2016, the Kitchener, Ont., native has dressed for a total of 48 career NHL games.
