New Jersey Devils forward Taylor Hall has been fined $5,000 for boarding Kyle Okposo of the Buffalo Sabres in Tuesday’s 3-1 New Jersey win.
The $5,000 penalty is the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.
The play in question occurred at the 7:42 mark of the first period. Hall was assessed a minor penalty on the play.
Hall also contributed a goal in the victory.
