New Jersey Devils star Taylor Hall will sit out the team’s game against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday as trade rumours continue to swirl.
Hall was also held out of the team’s 3-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Friday for “precautionary reasons.”
Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston recently reported during Saturday’s Headlines segment on Hockey Night in Canada that the Devils were moving forward with their plan to trade the former Hart Trophy winner.
“It sounds as though the conversations so far have largely been one-sided,” Johnston said. “The Devils are encouraging teams to step forward with offers, not so much of a back and forth.”
In 30 games this season, the Calgary native has six goals and 25 points and is a pending unrestricted free agent.
