Ducks sign forward Andreas Martinsen to one-year, two-way contract

The Anaheim Ducks have signed left winger Andreas Martinsen to a one-year, two-way deal worth $750,000.

Martinsen, 29, has scored nine goals and added 14 assists in 152 career NHL games split between the Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche.

Born in Baerum, Norway, Martinsen is just the eighth Norwegian player to appear in an NHL game.

In 24 games with the Blackhawks last season, he scored one goal and added three assists.
