Get ready for Star Wars night in Cincinnati.
The ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones, an affiliate of the Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers, introduced five jerseys for specialty events throughout the 2014-15 season, including Star Wars night, ugly sweater party, pink in the rink, parrothead night, and superhero night. Seriously.
Star Wars night will take place on Saturday, which will feature R2-D2 jerseys, and all net proceeds will go to various charities.
Ugly Sweater Night, for those who are interested, takes place on December 20. That’s our personal favourite.
