Sam Bennett will be a healthy scratch when the Calgary Flames take on the Nashville Predators Thursday night.

Michael Ferland, who has missed the past three games with a lower-body injury, will take his place in the lineup.

Bennett, the fourth overall pick in the 2014 draft, was expected to play a key offensive role for the Flames this season. He has nine goals and nine assists so far, but hasn’t registered a point since Dec. 27, a span of 10 games.
