The Calgary Flames have inked centre Alan Quine to a one-year, two-way contract extension, the team announced Saturday.

The native of Belleville, Ont., suited up in 13 games for the Flames last season, potting three goals and two assists. The 26-year-old also led their AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat, in scoring with 19 goals and 33 assists in 41 games.

The six-foot, 205-pound forward was signed as a free agent by Calgary last summer.

Quine also appeared in 84 NHL games with the New York Islanders from 2015 to 2018, collecting 22 points.
