Flames sign forward Emilio Pettersen to entry-level contract

The Calgary Flames have signed forward Emilio Pettersen to a three-year entry-level contract. Terms of the deal were not released.

Pettersen, 20, was a sixth-round pick of the Flames in 2018. A native of Oslo, Norway, he spent the past two seasons at the University of Denver. In 36 games this season he had 13 goals and a team-leading 35 points.

He was named to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team and was an NCHC Second Team All-Star.
