Flames sign goaltender Tom McCollum to two-year contract

CALGARY – The Calgary Flames have signed goaltender Tom McCollum to a two-year, two-way contract.

The 26-year-old cleared waivers and been assigned to the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat.

McCollum, a former first-round pick of the Detroit Red Wings, played 30 games for the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins last season and went 15-13-0 with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.
