Flyers sign defenceman Chris Bigras to two-year, two-way contract

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenceman Chris Bigras to a two-year, two-way contract that carries an average annual value of $700,000.

Bigras, 24, was drafted in the second-round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.

In 46 career NHL games he has scored one goal and added three assists.

As a member of the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack last year, he scored three times and added 19 assists in 52 appearances.
