The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Joel Farabee to an entry-level contract.
Farabee, 19, was drafted 14th overall by the Flyers in 2018 and spent the 2018-19 season with the NCAA’s Boston University Terriers.
In 37 games with the Terriers, the Cicero, N.Y. native scored 17 goals and 19 assists.
Farabee was named to the NCAA All-Rookie team and was the 2018-19 Hockey East Rookie of the Year.
The contract takes effect at the start of the 2019-20 season.
