Frank Corrado is back with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
The defenceman signed an AHL deal with the Marlies on Monday, bringing himself back to the franchise he spent parts of two seasons with from 2015-17.
Corrado was claimed off waivers by the Leafs ahead of the 2015-16 season, appearing in 39 games for the last-place team and scoring one goal and six assists.
He made it into just two contests the following season, spending much of his time as a healthy scratch, with the club reluctant to risk losing him on waivers.
The 25-year-old was eventually traded to Pittsburgh, and he spent most of last season playing for their AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The defending Calder Cup champion Marlies are 2-4-0-1 this season.
