Neck will sideline Gagne vs. Sens Saturday

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Simon Gagne will not be in uniform Saturday when his team visits the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Place.

Gagne met with a neck specialist on Friday in Montreal to treat a pinched nerve. He received an injection forcing him to rest for the next four days.

The 31-year-old winger will take part in Tuesday’s morning skate.

A decision will be taken afterwards to determine if he can play against the New York Islanders.

The Lightning are alreadyalso without fellow top six forwards Steve Downie and Ryan Malone due to injury.
