Goalie Michael Hutchinson joins Panthers on one-year contract

The Florida Panthers have signed goaltender Michael Hutchinson to a one-year contract.

Hutchinson, 28, has appeared in 102 career regular season games, all with the Winnipeg Jets. He earned three starts with Winnipeg in 2017-18, registering a 3.26 goals against average and .907 save percentage.

The netminder will most likely play third-string to starter Roberto Luongo and backup James Reimer.
