Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Colin Miller has been fined $2,000 for diving/embellishment.

The incident occurred in the first period of a game between the Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks on March 30. After a face-off in the Golden Knights zone, Miller got tied up with Sharks forward Marcus Sorensen. Sorensen received an interference penalty on the play and Miller was given a penalty for embellishment.

Per the NHL rulebook, a $2,000 fine is handed to a player after his second infraction, with the first one resulting in just a warning.

In 63 games this season, Miller has three goals and 29 points.
