The Vegas Golden Knights appear to be getting a big boost ahead of their upcoming playoff series with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Head coach Peter DeBoer confirmed Sunday that Max Pacioretty, who led the Golden Knights in scoring this season, has arrived in the Edmonton bubble and will begin practicing with the team Monday.
Pacioretty suffered a minor injury during the first week of Phase 3 training camp and didn’t travel with the team to Edmonton on July 26 so he could continue to rehab in the team’s home facilities.
In his second season with the Golden Knights, Pacioretty scored a team-high 32 goals and led the team with 66 points. It was the fifth time in his career that he scored at least 30 goals.
