The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Jack Dugan to a two-year entry-level contract, the team announced on Thursday.

Dugan, 22, led the NCAA in points during the 2019-20 season as a sophomore with Providence, racking up 10 goals and 42 assists in 34 games and earning recognition by being named as a finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. In his rookie season with Providence, Dugan recorded 10 goals and 39 points in 41 games which led to him being named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team.
Selected by the Golden Knights in the fifth round – 142nd overall – of the 2017 NHL Draft, the Rochester, N.Y., native played for the USHL’s Chicago Steel prior to joining Providence ahead of the 2018-19 season. In his lone USHL season, Dugan had 31 goals and 66 points in 54 contests.
