Golden Knights officially sign forward Mark Stone to 8-year extension

Golden Knights forward Mark Stone chats with Dan Murphy about his smooth transition into the Golden Knights’ lineup.

The Vegas Golden Knights have officially signed forward Mark Stone to an eight year extension worth $9.5-million annually, the team announced on Friday.

Stone was acquired by the Golden Knights at the 2019 trade deadline, heading to Vegas along with Tobias Lindberg from Ottawa in exchange for Erik Brannstrom, Oscar Lindberg, and a 2020 second-round pick.

The 26-year-old winger has suited up for give games with his new club so far, posting two assists in that span. He amassed 28 goals and 62 points through 59 games for the Senators this season as well, after finishing the 2017-18 campaign with 28 goals and 64 points through 64 games.
