Hockey Night in Canada Cheat Sheet: December 19

Jonathan Bernier took another baby step forward in the OT loss to the Sharks, and has full support from his teammates as he finds his way out of his funk.

There’s only three games on this week’s Hockey Night in Canada schedule but quality is more important than quantity.

You’ve got Jonathan Bernier taking on his former team as the Maple Leafs host the Los Angeles Kings in Toronto while two of the best teams in their respective conferences, the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars face off to wrap up the early slate.

In the late game, two of the league’s most exciting young teams, the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche, face off in a high-paced contest that should feature plenty of offence.

As we do each week in the Cheat Sheet, here’s everything you need to know about Hockey Night in Canada.
