Hurricanes Aho, Teravainen added to Finland’s roster for IIHF worlds

Carolina Hurricanes forwards Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen have been added to Finland’s roster for the 2018 IIHF World Hockey Championship.

Aho put up career highs in goals (29) and assists (36), to finish with 65 points in his sophomore campaign.

The 20-year-old will be making his third straight appearance at the worlds.

Teravainen’s 23 goals and 41 assists were also career-best marks.

The 23-year-old was playing in his second season with the Hurricanes since being acquired in a trade from Chicago.

The 2018 world championship is being held in Denmark and will begin play on May 4.
