Hurricanes sign defenceman Michal Cajkovsky to two-way contract

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed defenceman Michal Cajkovsky to a one-year, two-way contract. Cajovsky will earn $650,000 in the NHL and $70,000 at the AHL level.

Cajovsky, 26, was attending Hurricanes’ training camp on a professional try-out.

Last season he played with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg of the KHL, where he had seven goals and 19 points in 43 games.
