Islanders’ Josh Bailey added to Canada’s world championship roster

New York Islanders winger Josh Bailey has been added to Team Canada’s roster for the 2018 IIHF World Championship.

Bailey appeared in 76 games with the Islanders in 2017-18, registering career highs in points (71), assists (53) and goals (18).

Hockey Canada also announced St. Louis Blues defenceman Vince Dunn will not be able to participate in the tournament due to injury.

Canada opens the 2018 IIHF World Championship on Friday, May 4, against the United States in Herning, Denmark.
