The New York Islanders have placed forward Joshua Ho-Sang on waivers, general manager Lou Lamoriello confirmed Monday.

As per The Athletic’s Arthur Staple, forward Tanner Fritz and defenceman Thomas Hickey have also been placed on waivers.

Ho-Sang, 23, has had an up-and-down career on Long Island since being drafted by the Islanders with the 28th pick in 2014. The Toronto native has spent most of the last three seasons with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, suiting up in just 53 regular season games for New York, scoring seven goals and 24 points.

Ho-Sang re-signed with the Islanders on a one-year contract in August.
