Islanders re-sign Stephen Gionta to two-way deal

The New York Islanders have re-signed winger Stephen Gionta to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Tuesday.

The 33-year-old played in 26 games for the Islanders last season, scoring once and adding five assists.
