The New York Islanders have recalled forwards Anthony Beauvillier and Michael Dal Colle along with defenceman Sebastian Aho from AHL Bridgeport.

Beauvillier and Dal Colle’s transactions are on an emergency basis.

According to Arthur Staple of Newsday, Dal Colle and Beauvillier were recalled because forwards Josh Bailey and Andrew Ladd are questionable to play in Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers.

The Islanders are currently on their bye week, but neither Bailey or Ladd played in the team’s last game on Sunday against the New Jersey Devils.

Staple also reports that Aho was recalled because defenceman Johnny Boychuk likely isn’t ready to return from a lower-body injury that has sidelined him since the end of December.

Dal Colle, 21, was the fifth-overall pick in the 2014 draft. He has yet to play in the NHL, but has five goals and 18 points in 34 AHL games this season.

Beauvillier, 20, was the 28th-overall pick in the 2015 draft. He has been up and down between the NHL and AHL this season and has five goals and eight points in 32 games with the Islanders.

Aho, 21, made his NHL debut on New Year’s Eve and has one goal and one assist in three NHL games since.
