Islanders’ Travis Hamonic out 4-6 weeks with upper-body injury

New York Islanders defenceman Travis Hamonic will miss the next four to six weeks with an upper-body injury.

Hamonic left Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers after blocking a shot by Pat Maroon and did not return.

The 26-year-old has two goals and five points in 12 games this season.
