Twitter condolences: Canada’s J.P. Parise

Hockey Central at Noon talks about the impact of JP Parise, who passed away at the age of 73.

Condolences from all corners of the hockey world flooded Twitter Thursday as fans, friends and teams learned of Jean-Paul Parise’s death.

A husband, father and grandfather, Parise passed away peacefully at home Wednesday night after a battle with lung cancer. His family, including NHLer son Zach, was by his side.

Parise, an NHLer of 890 games and a member of Team Canada during the 1972 Summit Series, was 73 years old.

He will be missed.
