Condolences from all corners of the hockey world flooded Twitter Thursday as fans, friends and teams learned of Jean-Paul Parise’s death.
A husband, father and grandfather, Parise passed away peacefully at home Wednesday night after a battle with lung cancer. His family, including NHLer son Zach, was by his side.
Parise, an NHLer of 890 games and a member of Team Canada during the 1972 Summit Series, was 73 years old.
He will be missed.
