Jay Beagle joins Canucks on a four-year contract

The Vancouver Canucks have signed veteran centre Jay Beagle to a four-year, $12-million contract.

Beagle, 32, has spent his entire 10-year career with the Washington Capitals, including winning the Stanley Cup this season.

Last season he had seven goals and 22 points in 79 games.
