Jets arrive in Minneapolis ahead of Game 3 vs. Wild

The Jets had the best home record all season, but their opponent in Minnesota had the second-best. They aren’t underestimating the effect the Wild’s fans can have on the game heading into Game 3.

The Winnipeg Jets announced that they have arrived in Minneapolis and will play Game 3 of their first-round series against the Minnesota Wild.

The Jets’ flight was re-routed 250 kilometres away to Duluth, Minn., on Saturday as a snowstorm grounded flights at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The team decided to return to Winnipeg and fly out Sunday morning.

Game 3 will go as scheduled with puck drop set for 6:00 p.m. CT. with Winnipeg holding a 2-0 series lead.
