Those Winnipeg Jets fans sure are relearning this whole cheering-and-jeering thing well.
As the home team closed out a decisive 5-2 thumping of their old Norris Division rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tuesday night in the ’Peg, the Manitoba faithful rained upon the visitors a mocking “Let’s Go Blue Jays!” chant.

With the victory, the Jets (ninth in the East and winners of six of their last 10) closed the gap on the Leafs, who have a tenuous hold on the sixth seed since they’ve played more games than the four teams immediately blow them in the standings.
Kudos to the smart-aleck Jets supporters, who reprised Leafs Nation’s own mocking chant almost a year to the date.
