Jets sign goaltender Mikhail Berdin to entry-level deal

The Winnipeg Jets have signed goaltender Mikhail Berdin to a three-year, entry-level contract. The contract carries an annual value of $766,666.67.

Berdin was drafted by the Jets in the sixth-round, 157th overall of the 2016 NHL Draft. Originally from Ufa, Russia, the 20-year-old has spent the last two seasons with the Sioux Falls Stampede. This season he went 24-13-5 with a 2.65 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage in 45 games.
