Patrik Laine isn’t the only hockey star who can make a lasting impression over FaceTime.
Calgary Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau surprised a young Flames fanatic this week with a FaceTime chat on his birthday.
Liam Watson, the proud owner of a Johnny Hockey figurine (not to scale), lost his home in the Fort McMurray fire.
So Gaudreau brightened his ninth b-day by sending him an autographed photo, an autographed puck, and — best of all — a one-on-one virtual chat. Very cool.
Johnny be good.
.@johngaudreau03 gave Liam, who lost his home in the Fort McMurray fire, the best birthday gift ever.https://t.co/7WuqPK8LdQ
