Kings sign defenceman McNabb to two-year deal

The Los Angeles Kings have signed defenceman Brayden McNabb to a two-year contract, the team announced Saturday.

McNabb was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this summer.

He played in 81 games for the Kings this past season, scoring two goals and adding 12 assists. In all, McNabb has five goals and 41 assists in 189 career NHL games to go along with 165 penalty minutes.

The 25-year-old was originally drafted by the Buffalo Sabres 66th overall in 2009, but was traded to the Kings in 2014.
